*Severance* Star Tramell Tillman Upholds His Swedish Pronunciation in Conversation with Stephen Colbert

Mr. Milchick (portrayed by Tramell Tillman) is undoubtedly among the most amusing characters in *Severance*, and his comical tale about the King of Sweden in Season 2, Episode 5 serves as perfect proof of this.

In the scene, Milchick introduces the fictitious Swedish term “gråkappan” (which means “gray cloak” in his narrative). His over-the-top pronunciation swiftly became a sensation on X, prompting many Swedish viewers to humorously comment on his delivery of the word.

While on *The Late Show*, Tillman elaborated on his method for the scene. He disclosed that he was inspired by Betty White’s role in *Golden Girls* and tried out three distinct pronunciations during shooting. In the end, the version that elicited the most laughter from the crew was the one chosen for the episode.
