In 2026, following a year of mocking President Donald Trump’s administration, South Park embarks on a fresh adventure with a collaboration with Fortnite. Commencing on Friday, Jan. 9, and concluding on Thursday, Feb. 5, the Fortnite South Park: Born in Chaos crossover event unveils new elements. Players can acquire mech suit skins for Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Butters in Fortnite’s shop, enabling them to continuously “kill Kenny.” A new Point of Interest, Cartmanland, is also open for discovery.
A notable aspect of the South Park crossover is Quints, a five-player playlist that introduces an additional member to your team. This is excellent news for Butters, who at last teams up with his friends in Fortnite rather than being the odd one out, as depicted in the collab’s announcement video.
The event features multiple South Park-themed gameplay items. Cheesy Poofs can replenish health, heal teammates, or inflict damage on foes, while Kenny’s Respawn Token allows for an automatic reboot after being eliminated. The one-time-use Stick of Truth, from the 2014 title South Park: The Stick of Truth, enables players to influence the Storm’s trajectory.
Players can claim the free Born in Chaos pass and undertake South Park-themed quests to unlock 13 items, including the Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote and a Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe. Completing all quests yields the Imaginationland Airship Glider as a reward.
Towelie appears as a companion, and as the saying goes, if you dive into Fortnite’s wild new South Park experience, don’t forget to take a towel.
