South Park Offers a Stern, NSFW Response to Homeland Security’s ICE Announcement

The ongoing clash between South Park and President Donald Trump’s administration persists without pause.

In the premiere of Season 27, South Park ridiculed Trump by depicting him in bed with Satan, giving him a micropenis, and generating a hyperrealistic naked deepfake of him.

The forthcoming second episode of Season 27, titled “Got A Nut,” intends to further the show’s satirical examination of Trump’s administration, focusing on ICE and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

On August 5, the Department of Homeland Security posted a screenshot of South Park’s representation of ICE agents on X, alongside a link to an ICE recruitment site.

Hours later, South Park’s X account replied, saying, “Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofdicks.”

Their response alludes to the White House’s initial reply to the Season 27 premiere. In a statement to the media, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers remarked, “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

Regarding relevance, South Park’s Season 27 premiere drew 5.9 million viewers across Comedy Central and Paramount+. According to Nielsen, that marks the show’s highest linear season premiere share since 1999.

The series premiere also came on the heels of the announcement that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone secured a five-year agreement with Paramount, which includes an exclusive streaming partnership with Paramount+. The deal is valued at $1.5 billion.

South Park is currently available for streaming on Paramount+. New episodes are broadcast on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central and become available to stream the following day on Paramount+.
