Per a post on [Medium](https://9to5mac.com/2024/11/12/kuo-apple-smart-home-camera/) by well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the technology titan is crafting its inaugural smart home camera.

Kuo anticipates that Apple’s smart home camera will launch in 2026. He also mentioned a few details that, while not revolutionary, are noteworthy. Firstly, the camera will probably connect effortlessly with other Apple devices using wireless technology, which has become the norm for smart home gadgets in 2024. Secondly, it will incorporate Siri and [Apple Intelligence](https://mashable.com/article/ios-18-2-beta-apple-intelligence-genmoji-image-playground) features, although Kuo did not clarify what specific functionalities those may involve.

In addition to these forecasts, there remains considerable uncertainty about the gadget. The design and primary purpose of the camera are still unknown.
