At CES 2026, SwitchBot is unveiling the onero H1 concept robot to illustrate its vision for the future of smart living environments. The emphasis is moving away from merely adding gadgets towards launching a system that can execute various tasks.
SwitchBot introduces the onero H1 as an “accessible” domestic robot, indicating a shift from dedicated smart devices to a multifunctional home robot that adjusts as necessary.
Instead of highlighting a single capability, SwitchBot markets the onero H1 as a flexible platform focused on embodied AI. It integrates visual recognition, depth perception, and tactile interaction, featuring 22 degrees of freedom and an on-device OmniSense VLA model. This configuration is designed to handle small, contact-intensive household chores that most consumer robots struggle with, such as picking up objects, opening doors, or sorting items without extensive pre-programming.
This concept represents a vision for the future rather than a product ready for widespread rollout. In a CES brimming with AI narratives and humanoid showcases, the onero H1 distinguishes itself by prioritizing practical household aid, rather than simply seeking to dazzle on the exhibition floor.
