New guest stars

Brie Larson as Francie Fak

As Tiff (Gillian Jacobs) and Frank’s (Josh Hartnett) wedding approaches, Francie Fak makes her long-anticipated debut. Natalie (Abby Elliott) has had ongoing issues with Francie, although the specifics remain untold. Portrayed by Brie Larson, Francie arrives at the wedding in episode 7. The two engage in an argument but ultimately make amends, regardless of the unclear reasons for their discord.

Rob Reiner as Albert

Renowned for his direction of iconic Stephen King adaptations (Stand By Me and Misery), Rob Reiner takes on the role of Albert, Ebraheim’s (Edwin Lee Gibson) business mentor. Albert assists Ebraheim in devising a strategy to broaden The Beef sandwich shop’s reach.

Danielle Deadwyler as Chantel

Danielle Deadwyler (Till, Station Eleven) joins Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) in episode 4, playing a hairdresser and a long-time friend of Sydney.

Kate Berlant as an AI-Anon member
