Regardless of Donald Trump’s actions, the Epstein narrative remains steadfast. Recently, the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee disclosed a collection of emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, a convicted child sex offender. One email, allegedly from Epstein to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, references the president in relation to a victim. It notes, “I want you to understand that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump,” as reported by CNN. “[Victim] spent hours at my residence with him.”
Daily Show host Josh Johnson commented on the release during Wednesday night’s episode, assessing the email communications involving Trump and concluding, “All I know is that every piece of information that emerges makes him appear increasingly suspicious.”
“I’m an American residing in America,” Johnson expresses in the clip. “And regardless of your political affiliation, or whom you supported, it would be more beneficial for all of us, as a general principle, if we do not have a sexual predator as president.”
