Donald Trump has only just embarked on his presidency, and he’s already tangled in new controversies with various individuals.

The most recent target of his discontent? Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, who was filmed imploring the president to “show compassion for the people in our nation who are frightened right now,” which includes “gay, lesbian, and transgender youth.” She also pointed out during a service at Washington National Cathedral that “the overwhelming majority of immigrants are not criminals.”

In a clip from *The Daily Show*, host Ronny Chieng gleefully reviews footage of Trump looking noticeably unhappy during the service.

“New executive order: We are prohibiting church,” Chieng jokes. “Hey bishop, come on! We don’t attend church to receive a sermon about having compassion for the disadvantaged. That’s not the purpose of church! And Trump was like, ‘I only showed up because I heard there were complimentary crackers, and now I’m getting roasted by Tig Notaro.’ He was probably gazing up at Jesus on the cross and thinking, ‘You and I both, my friend.'”
