The initial trailer for *Andor* Season 2 hinted at an exhilarating *Star Wars* uprising, yet the follow-up trailer adopts a more sinister, foreboding tone.

What drives this unease? The Death Star. After making a brief appearance in the post-credits sequence of *Andor* Season 1, the Empire’s ultimate weapon now casts a more substantial shadow. As the series moves closer to the storyline of *Rogue One*—where the central mission involved acquiring the Death Star plans—the looming threat it represents escalates.
“It’s a weapon. They’re constructing a weapon,” a character cautions in the trailer, which then transitions to *Rogue One*’s Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) supervising the nearly finished battle station.
Nonetheless, the Empire—including Krennic, Syril Karn (Kyle Soller), and Dedra Meero (Denise Gough)—is set to encounter staunch opposition from the rising Rebellion. Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) is now completely dedicated to the mission, joined by companions like Bix Kaleen (Adria Arjona), Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly). But how far are they prepared to go for the uprising?
*Andor* Season 2 debuts on April 22 on Disney+.
