Updated on Thursday, July 31 at 5:10 p.m. ET — DJI is facing inventory shortages for U.S. consumers interested in the new DJI Osmo 360 camera, mirroring issues seen with their drone stock. The item is labeled as “Out of Stock” on the DJI website. We have reached out to DJI for a comment.

The summer of 2025 is an unforgettable one for DJI.

Originally celebrated as the premier brand for drones, DJI has swiftly broadened its product lineup. The creator-approved DJI mics have become a TikTok sensation, while the sizable DJI Power 2000 portable power station is a must-have for camping trips. DJI e-bikes are being introduced in the U.S. (for enthusiasts willing to invest over $7,000 on a bicycle) along with a potentially upcoming DJI robot vacuum. Now, the company has unveiled the DJI Osmo 360 camera, boasting impressive specifications.

The newest camera from DJI captures native 8k video with a 360-degree perspective. Content creators taking us along on bike excursions, early-morning city strolls, or thrilling snowboarding adventures will value these outstanding specifications. Filming in 8k at 30fps, the Osmo 360 provides 100 minutes of recording on a single charge. Reducing to 6K at 24fps allows for up to 190 minutes of uninterrupted shooting.

With the Osmo 360, DJI has introduced significant advancements, including SuperNight mode for enhanced footage in dim lighting. The selfie mode enables wide-angle recordings with high frame rates, and the new slow-motion capability shoots at up to 100 fps.

The DJI Osmo 360 features 105GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card. Its OLED touchscreen interface is intuitive and optimized for filming in bright conditions.

The Osmo 360 is not currently available for purchase, but its retail price is set at $549.99 for the standard combination package, which includes the camera, a protective bag, rubber lens cover, charging cable, and extra accessories.

DJI’s listing for the Osmo 360 presents various upgraded bundles geared toward specific activities, including the Adventure Combo, Motorcycle Handlebar POV combo, Vlog Combo, and Skiing Combo. Many of these include the innovative DJI Invisible Selfie Stick, which automatically removes itself from the footage, streamlining the editing process.

The Osmo 360 is lightweight, weighing only 0.4 pounds, making it slightly lighter than its main competitor, the Insta360 X5, which is also priced at $549.99.

DJI has yet to disclose when the Osmo 360 will be released in the U.S., but the company’s website hints that it could be imminent. We will refresh this article with any details regarding the release date.
