GET $149.02 OFF: The Home Depot’s famous 12-foot skeleton is now just $149.98 (regularly $299) as of Oct. 24 — a 50% discount. However, it’s only available for in-store pickup.

It has been six years since the Home Depot introduced its 12-foot skeleton yard decoration to widespread, meme-inspired fame. For the last five years, “Skelly” has been nearly impossible to find in stock during Halloween — let alone at a discounted price. This year, that is finally changing.

As of Oct. 24, the Home Depot’s 12-foot skeleton is reduced to only $149.98. That’s an impressive 50% off its typical price of $299, and it’s the first time I’ve witnessed it going on sale during all my years following its dedicated fanbase.

There is a catch: At the time of writing, the 12-footer was not available for shipping. You can only snag it at half price if you locate it in stores, and you cannot reserve it for pickup ahead — meaning you’ll need to embark on a bit of a frantic Skelly hunt.

You can utilize the “Check Nearby Stores” feature on Skelly’s product page to check if it’s available nearby. For context, three of the ten Home Depot stores within a ten-mile radius of me had limited quantities in stock.
