The inaugural Lego Pokémon sets are arriving. Well, nearly. The beloved Danish toy brand unveiled the highly awaited sets on Monday, and they’re officially up for preorder starting Jan. 12.
There are three primary sets in this debut, centered around some of the most iconic, beloved creatures from Pokémon’s three-decade legacy. These include Pikachu, naturally, along with Eevee, Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise, all brought to life in Lego brick format. Pokémon enthusiasts of all ages can further their trainer quests and catch (construct?) them all piece by piece.
“As a lifelong Pokémon enthusiast, it has been a remarkable privilege to aid in bringing these Pokémon into existence in LEGO brick form for the very first time,” shared Siddharth Muthyala, Design Director for LEGO Pokémon, in a press statement. “Pokémon has motivated generations of fans globally, so our team’s approach to designing these sets was filled with deep care and passion, guaranteeing that every detail and pose genuinely honors what makes these characters so cherished.”
Timed to coincide with Pokémon Day (it exists!), all three sets are set to officially debut on Feb. 27, 2026. For those eager to secure their sets early, here are all the preorder specifics.

Clearly, there couldn’t be a Pokémon lineup without Pikachu. This 2,050-piece compilation replicates one of the most recognizable moments from the series: Pikachu leaping out of the Poké Ball to fight. It provides two distinct building options — a battle position and a seated stance with a closed Poké Ball — and comprises nods for fans, such as a “25” on the base, representing Pikachu’s Pokédex identifier. It is priced at $199.99 and while it was previously available for preorder, the limit now indicates “exceeded.” Let’s hope pre-orders reopen for the most famous Pokémon of them all.
