The Originators of The Baltimorons Provide Amusing Outcomes in Say Action

The newly released indie comedy, *The Baltimorons*, has hit theaters and is touted as “the uplifting film of 2025” by Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko. The movie features Michael Strassner portraying an improv comedian facing a tough Christmas Eve and meeting a down-to-earth dentist, played by Liz Larsen, who transforms his life. Strassner not only takes on the role of Baltimore local Cliff Cashen but also co-wrote the screenplay with director Jay Duplass.

To commemorate its launch, Mashable welcomed Duplass and Strassner to the Say More studio for a unique edition of Say Action, celebrating the improv essence and Baltimore heritage of the film. In this activity, participants receive a well-known movie line and an instruction for how to deliver it, producing comical results as the two comedy partners vie against each other.

Iconic lines from *When Harry Met Sally*, *Terminator*, and *Scarface* are presented with surprising new twists. Let us know your opinions on who nailed it in the comments.

Don’t forget to check out *The Baltimorons*. In her review, Puchko admired it as “a true treasure. Skillfully contemporary and cleverly self-aware, it’s not just one of the best experiences I had at SXSW but undoubtedly one of the top films of 2025.”
