*The Righteous Gemstones* is slated to make its comeback for a fourth and conclusive season this March, and based on the initial teaser, the series appears poised to conclude with a spectacle of Biblical proportions.
The teaser kicks off with Baby Billy Freeman (portrayed by Walton Goggins, *Fallout*) presenting his new young adult television show centered around Jesus as a teenager. Initially dubbed *Teen Jesus*, the title has been shortened to *Teenjus*. Nevertheless, the Gemstone siblings—Jesse (series creator Danny McBride), Judy (Edi Patterson, *Nutcrackers*), and Kelvin (Adam DeVine, *Isn’t It Romantic?*)—are not completely convinced by the rebranding. They comically brainstorm different titles, even proposing the name *Jeen* as a whimsical combination of “teen” and “Jesus.”
This eccentric banter is merely the beginning of the tumultuous ride. The teaser also hints at an all-out battle, a trio of lavish angel outfits, and offers a peek at patriarch Eli Gemstone (John Goodman, *Monarch: Legacy of Monsters*) apparently enjoying a laid-back existence, “wasting away in Margaritaville” on his boat.
Mark your calendars: *The Righteous Gemstones* Season 4 will debut on March 9 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO and Max.
