The revival of *The Naked Gun* not only features comedic performances from Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson but also incorporates several cameos from the original movie, including “Weird Al” Yankovic, along with appearances from Busta Rhymes, Dave Bautista, and others. One prominent cameo is Priscilla Presley, a co-star from the original trilogy.
Presley, who appeared alongside Leslie Nielsen in 1988’s *The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!*, 1991’s *The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear*, and 1994’s *Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult*, portrayed Jane Spencer, a clumsy femme fatale who becomes romantically involved with Nielsen’s character, Lt. Frank Drebin.
In the reboot, Presley appears as Jane, watching an important fight event on TV, where Neeson’s character, Detective Frank Drebin Jr., finds himself in an embarrassing predicament. Jane seems surprised, but it remains uncertain if she recognizes Frank Jr. as her son. In *The Naked Gun 33⅓*, Jane and Frank are wed, and the concluding scene depicts Jane giving birth to a son. Nevertheless, Presley’s appearance in the reboot, even as a brief cameo, is a charming reference to the original films.
Pamela Anderson revealed to Mashable that Presley sent her a message prior to filming, urging her to embrace the absurdity and enjoy herself. The movie also pays tribute to Leslie Nielsen, who passed away in 2010, with scenes of Frank Jr. contemplating his father’s legacy and a comical moment featuring an owl.
