TikTok Creator Marketplace is shutting down and moving to the AI-driven TikTok One.

**TikTok to Close Creator Marketplace in Favor of AI-Driven TikTok One**

TikTok is set to shut down its Creator Marketplace on **March 1**, replacing it with **TikTok One**, a platform filled with AI-enhanced tools.

As reported by **TechCrunch**, starting this Saturday, creators will not be able to initiate or accept invitations for new advertising campaigns. The Creator Marketplace, which previously linked advertisers with influencers for sponsorships and branded content, will be entirely closed on **April 1**.

### **What’s Next?**
Rather than the Creator Marketplace, users will be directed to **TikTok One**, a newly developed platform aimed at simplifying brand partnerships. This revamped system not only facilitates connections between brands and creators but also incorporates **generative AI tools** to amplify advertising efforts.

Launched in **May 2024**, TikTok One acts as a **”one-stop shop”** for brands, providing access to creators, production partners, and marketing insights. One notable feature is **Symphony**, an AI-driven assistant that can:
– **Create ad scripts**
– **Translate audio into various languages** through AI voice dubbing
– **Produce AI-generated avatars** of real creators

### **Mixed Responses from Creators**
The initial Creator Marketplace received a **varied response** from influencers. Although it offered a means to monetize content, some creators felt it wasn’t worthwhile. A **Business Insider** report raised worries that brands **determined the rates**, frequently providing **low payments, gift cards, or store credit** instead of cash. Numerous creators considered these arrangements **exploitative** and **not worth the effort**.

With TikTok One, creators might encounter even more difficulties, as **AI-generated avatars** could rival authentic influencers for brand contracts. Furthermore, issues regarding **AI hallucinations**—where AI produces inaccurate or misleading information—might affect the trustworthiness of marketing campaigns.

### **What Creators Should Do Now**
As the Creator Marketplace comes to an end, TikTok recommends users to **transfer their data** to TikTok One to maintain access to brand opportunities.

With AI taking on a greater role in content creation, the transition to TikTok One signifies a major transformation in how brands and influencers work together on the platform.
