TikTok is organizing your perfect (and extremely chaotic) wedding entry

TikTok is hosting some of the most chaotic wedding entrances ever witnessed. You might have seen the bridesmaid trend and its numerous variations on your For You Page. The trend is amusing and quite simple. Typically, someone picks a fun song and creates an increasingly wild or unlikely scenario for the way the bridesmaids or other wedding party participants will make their entrance.

For instance, there’s a bride performing a moonwalk to the Law & Order theme or the groom grooving to Soulja Boy as he walks down the aisle. Alternatively, you might see a cameo from the pope, or a bridesmaid being escorted away by the police.

Here are a few trending examples of the phenomenon on TikTok.

In case you weren’t aware, this trend has its roots in a viral TikTok from a few months back, where a woman imagined her wedding to Alex Warren’s popular song “Ordinary.” Viewers observed that in her dream wedding, the bridesmaid would need to dash to keep up with the fast pace, sparking a lot of humor.

It’s uncertain why this TikTok and the recent trend surfaced months later, but it certainly brings a funny twist.
