Tim Cook and Donald Trump Set to Reveal $100 Billion Investment at the White House

Apple CEO Tim Cook will be joining President Donald Trump at the White House to reveal Apple’s augmented investment in the United States. The firm is pledging an extra $100 billion toward domestic manufacturing, which brings its total commitment to $600 billion, according to Bloomberg. A spokesperson from the White House emphasized this as a triumph for the manufacturing sector and a move towards bringing production back to boost economic and national security. The formal announcement is set for 4:30 p.m. ET in the Oval Office. Earlier, Trump warned Apple of increased tariffs, pushing the business to relocate production to the U.S. This year, Apple has disclosed various initiatives within the U.S., such as a new manufacturing facility in Houston scheduled to open in 2026, an educational academy in Michigan, and plans to recruit 20,000 workers based in the U.S.
