Sony and Marvel have revealed a fresh appearance for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, harking back to the classic look. In a short 22-second teaser, fans are given a sneak peek at Spidey’s new costume, which extensively references the traditional comic style.
The sleek Stark Suit, the sophisticated armor provided by Tony Stark, which Holland’s Peter Parker donned in three standalone films and multiple Avengers crossover events, is now a thing of the past.
Spoilers for 2021’s No Way Home: At the film’s end, Peter’s high-tech suit is destroyed, along with everything else. It’s a severe reset that leaves Peter genuinely isolated and devoid of the Stark technology that powered his previous escapades. This echoes the more grounded, resourceful beginnings that many fans believed were lacking in the MCU’s depiction of the character.
The concluding scene in No Way Home showcases a homemade suit — bright, hand-stitched, and entirely Peter’s — indicating a new beginning. Now, with Brand New Day on the horizon, we’re finally witnessing that suit in action. And indeed, it appears striking. Here’s to hoping the film fulfills expectations.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to premiere in theaters on July 31, 2026, with Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton at the helm.
