This autumn, Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell take audiences on *A Big Bold Beautiful Journey* across time and dimensions. Who are we to decline?

Directed by Kogonada, who previously teamed up with Farrell on *After Yang*, *A Big Bold Beautiful Journey* is set to be a romance of monumental scale. Robbie and Farrell portray Sarah and David, two individuals who encounter each other at a friend’s wedding. Both are unattached, but for distinct motives. David believes he simply hasn’t found The One yet, while Sarah feels she’s “destined to be alone.” (Who else wagers they’ll have a change of heart by the film’s conclusion?)

During a picturesque drive, the duo comes across an extraordinary sight: a crimson door situated amid the forest.

When they venture through it, they find themselves revisiting significant moments from their pasts, such as high school performances and intimate discussions with their parents. Through these glimpses into their histories, Sarah and David achieve a deeper insight into their present — and into each other. And perhaps, just perhaps, they’ll be able to take what they glean from this experience and transform their futures.

*A Big Bold Beautiful Journey* is penned by Seth Reiss, who co-wrote *The Menu* alongside Will Tracy. While that film presented culinary thrills, Reiss takes a completely different path here, embracing magical realism and grand romance.
