Dracula is reinterpreted in a coming-of-age context in *Abraham’s Boys: A Dracula Story*, a horror film that delves into Bram Stoker’s Van Helsing character 18 years post the events of the legendary vampire novel.
Based on Joe Hill’s short story of the same title, *Abraham’s Boys* portrays a troubled family in rural 1915 where two young boys are subjected to an erratic father and a mother who is convinced (and rightly so) that something foreboding may be on the horizon.
Written and helmed by Natasha Kermani (*V/H/S/85*), *Abraham’s Boys* stars Titus Welliver, Jocelin Donahue, Aurora Perrineau, Judah Mackey, and Brady Hepner.
*Abraham’s Boys* releases in theaters on July 11.
