VTuber and Twitch creator Ironmouse stunned her audience by revealing her exit from VShojo, a talent organization she helped launch five years prior. Upon her departure, Ironmouse made serious, albeit uncorroborated, accusations.
This marks a pivotal moment for one of the top VTubers globally, who utilizes a virtual avatar for her streaming.
“According to the information I possess, I believe I am owed a considerable sum of money that I have yet to receive,” Ironmouse declared in a YouTube video announcing her separation from VShojo. “Most importantly, the Immune Deficiency Foundation, a charity that is significant to me and the reason I am here today, is owed over $500,000 from VShojo.”
Information is scarce, which seems to be a legal strategy from Ironmouse.
“I wish to disclose everything, but my lawyer has recommended I postpone until further legal actions unfold,” she stated in the video.
Ironmouse asserted in the video that VShojo neglected to contribute funds from a subathon meant for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Other creators have backed Ironmouse, as noted by Sports Illustrated’s Esports section.
It remains unclear how this scenario will develop, but the repercussions are expected to increase following Ironmouse’s exit.
