Wednesday Season 2 Preview Hints at Homicide, Chaos, and an Airport Security Catastrophe

Wednesday Addams is back to create more chaos in Jericho, as Netflix has just unveiled the first teaser trailer for Season 2 of Wednesday.

Jenna Ortega returns to her role as the charmingly sinister Wednesday in Tim Burton’s popular series. She is once again accompanied by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as her spooky yet stylish parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams. Also making a comeback are Emma Myers as her werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair, Fred Armisen as the oddly entertaining Uncle Fester, and Joy Sunday as the enchanting student Bianca Barclay.

The new trailer is filled with gothic excitement. It starts with Wednesday hilariously failing an intense airport security check due to her stash of hidden weapons. We also witness her reuniting with Enid, coming across a disturbingly realistic doll, wielding an axe effortlessly, and—unexpectedly—taking part in what seems to be a school sport. As ever, Wednesday reminds us that she “does her best work in the dark.” Snap snap!

Season 2 of Wednesday will debut in two segments on Netflix: Part 1 is set to release on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.
