“America-First Dating.” This phrase serves as the title of a dating application website for conservative OnlyFans model Anya Lacey. At just 19, Lacey has an impressive 1.3 million Instagram followers and over 680,000 TikTok followers. She embraces her seemingly paradoxical lifestyle: posting nude images online while desiring to be a tradwife—a woman who aligns with traditional gender roles of homemaking and submission to her husband.
“You’re a tradwife and post [cat emoji] pictures,” states one of the captions from her videos. “You’re a Christian and do Ohh Eff [OnlyFans].” Despite this, Lacey holds the view that engaging in OnlyFans does not undermine her traditional values.
“It’s a new time,” Lacey shared with Mashable. “We all have phones, we all have social media. And if you can maintain a traditional lifestyle while simultaneously earning income from showcasing it to the world and promoting it, then more power to you.”
Currently, the OnlyFans creator is in search of a husband. Last week, Lacey launched her Date Anya website, which drew in over 30,000 visitors and 2,100 completed questionnaires from interested suitors. Mashable explored her dating site as well as her political views in light of Republican attempts to eliminate internet porn.
How Anya Lacey embarked on her OnlyFans journey
Last year, Lacey built a TikTok following and conducted TikTok Lives. She received direct messages about starting an OnlyFans account, prompting her to consider the idea more seriously.
“I thought, ‘What if I actually did this, and not just for fun, but as a business strategy?” she told Mashable. “I made the decision to give it a try.”
She began sharing nude images on OnlyFans while working as a waitress, ultimately leaving that job by the end of 2024. Lacey has also tried her hand at other roles, including sales and pizza delivery.
“I devoted all my energy into this,” Lacey remarked regarding her OnlyFans and social media endeavors. When women seek her counsel, she cautions, “Unless you’re comfortable with your family, your future kids, your grandparents, seeing every aspect of you — and I do mean, every aspect of you — don’t pursue it.”
“When I began, I affirmed, ‘I am fine with all that,” stated Lacey, who resides in Florida. “I accept the consequences that come with it. I’m willing to handle the workload attached to it.'”
Lacey asserts she’s always been industrious. Even if offered a billion dollars, she would continue to work.
So, what drives her desire to be a tradwife?
The OnlyFans tradwife
Lacey identifies as a “red-blooded conservative,” prioritizing family, tradition, and taking a stand for what she believes is right. In addition to searching for a husband, she shares dating advice, such as “Exclusivity before intimacy. Protect your future children.”
On the Date Anya site, her deal-breakers include monogamy before intimacy, not going Dutch on the first date, and steering clear of partners whose lives are “dominated by porn.”
Despite juggling various jobs, OnlyFans has granted her unparalleled security and opportunity, with no intention of quitting. “There’s certainly a timeline that God has in mind,” she mentioned, but she remains uncertain about it.
As a Christian who follows Judeo-Christian principles, Lacey acknowledges a “moral reckoning” concerning her involvement with OnlyFans.
“We all sin to some degree, and I believe that ultimately, if I can provide…my future children with the best life possible, and ensure that my husband receives that as well, I’m prepared to make this temporary sacrifice in order to achieve those goals in the end,” she explained, “especially knowing deep down that I do have faith in God and strive to live the rest of my life in a manner that’s most aligned with Christian values.”
She asserts that it’s possible to be “traditional” in terms of gender roles without being conservative.
“There’s much more to it than just baking sourdough,” she stated, including having children and being attentive to your husband even when it’s not convenient.
When your party seeks to eliminate your job
Lacey recognizes that some conservatives are eager to ban porn, but she argues that many supporters of such measures are the industry’s most significant consumers. “I think we all understand this on some level,” she noted. “But as I said, we’re all imperfect.”
She suspects that Christian, God-fearing men in the House and Senate engage with pornography, and while they may take a moral stance, actual porn bans are unlikely due to the First Amendment.
Yet, some Republican lawmakers are making attempts. Project 2025, a far-right agenda for Trump’s second term, advocates for a complete porn ban and imprisonment for its producers. Since Trump’s inauguration, Republicans have proposed several bills aimed at this: Oklahoma’s porn ban, Michigan’s porn ban (along with prohibitions on erotic ASMR and VPNs), and a nationwide bill to redefine obscenity, which experts warn could effectively outlaw porn.
