Apple’s newest tvOS 26 features a significant addition that may have gone unnoticed during the WWDC keynote presentation. Apple Music Sing, which debuted in 2022 for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV 4K, enables users to perform along with song lyrics. Previously, this functionality was restricted to lowering a track’s vocals while showing lyrics live. With the developer beta of tvOS 26, Apple has improved Sing by rolling out new functionalities. Specifically, users can now utilize an iPhone as a mobile microphone, boosting their voices in harmony with the music, akin to a karaoke setup. More participants with an iPhone 11 or newer, operating the most recent iOS, can also take part. A feature called Lyrics Translation and Pronunciation assists users in singing along in languages they are not familiar with, although this is confined to select songs and languages.
