Netflix has released the official trailer for Culinary Class Wars Season 2, presenting a fresh batch of chefs vying for victory in the South Korean cooking competition series. Mostly fresh, that is.
The inaugural season of Culinary Class Wars showcased 100 chefs divided into two segments. The White Spoon segment featured renowned chefs, whereas the Black Spoon segment included cafeteria staff, pub proprietors, and similar roles.
Season 2 seems to uphold this structure, with White Spoon participants like MasterChef Korea judge Song Hoon, Michelin-starred chefs Lee Jun and Son Jong-won, along with Korea’s first master of temple cuisine, Venerable Sunjae.
Nonetheless, the second season of Culinary Class Wars promises unexpected twists. The trailer alludes to new, undisclosed regulations and the comeback of two masked contestants aiming for redemption.
Culinary Class Wars Season 2 debuts on Dec. 16 on Netflix.
