What is Connections: Sports Edition?
The NYT‘s newest daily word game, in collaboration with The Athletic, a New York Times brand for sports reporting, has been introduced. Connections is accessible on both web browsers and mobile devices, requiring players to categorize four words with a shared connection.

Each puzzle comprises 16 words organized into four categories. These groups can encompass anything from book titles to software or countries. Though many words may appear to belong together, only one combination is correct.
Should a player accurately identify all four words in a group, those words are eliminated from the board. Incorrect guesses are considered errors — players are permitted a total of four errors before the game concludes.

Players may rearrange and shuffle the board to facilitate the identification of connections. Each group is assigned a color code, with yellow being the simplest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Similar to Wordle, you can share outcomes with friends on social networks.
