<pIf you've played dominoes in the past, you'll grasp the fundamentals of how Pips operates. As we've noted in our earlier hint articles for Pips, the tiles, as with dominoes, can be arranged vertically or horizontally and interconnect with one another. The key distinction between classic dominoes and Pips lies in the color-coded criteria you need to fulfill. The adjacent tiles aren't required to match.

The requirements you must satisfy are related to the color-coded areas. For example, when a single digit is given, every side of a tile within that area must sum to the specified number. It’s possible – and often the case – for only a half of a tile to reside within a color-coded area.

Here are typical scenarios you’ll face throughout the difficulty levels:

• Number: All the pips within this area must total the number.

• Equal: Each domino half in this zone must contain an identical number of pips.

• Not Equal: Each domino half in this zone must possess entirely different pip quantities.

• Less than: Each domino half in this area must total less than the specified number.

• Greater than: Each domino half in this section must total more than the indicated number.

If an area is devoid of color coding, it signifies that there are no restrictions on the pieces of dominoes within those sections.
