5 Cutting-Edge Devices from CES 2026 Ready for Purchase Today

A second abbreviation frequently lingers over the CES exhibit: TBD. This represents the extent of our insights regarding many products revealed at CES 2026. “Coming soon” might imply next month for certain brands and next year for others. At times, it’s uncertain if these products will progress beyond the prototype phase.

While there’s no expectation for LG’s laundry-folding robot to be available at Target, having more concrete gadgets without delay would be welcomed. As of Jan. 5, several products disclosed over the weekend are already up for purchase or pre-order, and CES is far from concluding. CES 2026 officially takes place from Jan. 6 to Jan. 9, and we’ll refresh this list of products you can currently buy as they are introduced.

1. TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED TV
TCL’s significant TV announcement wasn’t merely another RGB TV, as anticipated from leading brands. However, the new TCL TV is primed to compete with Samsung or LG’s Micro RGB TVs. The TCL X11L is a SQD-Mini LED 4K TV, with SQD denoting Super Quantum Dot: a pure white light dispersed across an advanced layer of quantum dots instead of the actual red, green, and blue light sources used in RGB TVs. The goal is to achieve ultra-high peak brightness, typically only achievable with QLED and mini-LED panels, along with pristine black levels and contrast, typically only possible with OLED panels, concurrently.

The TCL X11L comes in sizes of 75, 85, and 98 inches, but only the $7,999.99 85-inch version is available for pre-order on TCL’s website. (The other two have prices but are “out of stock.”)

2. DuRoBo Krono e-reader
A significant contender has arrived in the e-reader market, catering to those who prioritize portability. DuRoBo introduced its 6.1-inch Krono e-reader at CES 2026, featuring various specifications that make it a commendable alternative to Kindle or Kobo. Despite its compact size (smaller than the basic Kindle), the Krono boasts 128GB of storage unlike the standard 32GB in most e-readers. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in speaker, and a 300 ppi resolution HD display. Shopping reporter Samantha Mangino states, “it bridges the gap between a tablet and e-reader and, with black and white displays, potentially makes it less tempting to scroll.”

The Krono e-paper device is priced at $279.99 on DuRoBo’s website.

3. A vibrating chef’s knife
The CES home tech landscape encompasses a broad range, from smart lights and evolving robot vacuums to concepts for robotic butlers. Kitchen technology fits somewhere on that spectrum. Last year, it was the Electric Salt Spoon. This year, Seattle Ultrasonics intends to enhance at-home meal preparation with the C-200 Ultrasonic Chef’s Knife. The 8-inch blade is already sharp, but by pressing a button, 30,000 sonic vibrations per minute make the knife feel sharper than it physically appears. Reportedly, the effort required should be reduced by half, even on challenging ingredients like bread or winter squashes.

Senior shopping reporter Haley Henschel tested it firsthand at CES, remarking that it sliced effortlessly. “I had no difficulty getting it to cut paper-thin slices of tomato with a gentle touch. Seattle Ultrasonics’ representative compared it to riding a bike versus pedaling an e-bike in that it makes your experience considerably easier.”

The C-200 UltraSonic Chef’s Knife is available for pre-order at $399 on Seattle Ultrasonic’s website.

4. Xreal 1S glasses
Xreal introduced the Xreal One Pro AR glasses at CES 2025, but they were hard to come by until they became available at Amazon and Best Buy at the end of August. Just months later, there’s already another new (and more affordable) pair from Xreal on the market. The Xreal 1S glasses can convert 2D games and videos to 3D using 3D spatial technology, along with enhanced specifications over previous Xreal models. These comprise a 500-inch spatial screen (compared to 147 inches on the Xreal One) and 1200p HD resolution (compared to 1080p on the Xreal One and One Pro).

Despite all the enhancements and a fun new cobalt color option, the Xreal 1S glasses are more affordable than both other pairs. They’re available for $449 on Xreal’s website.

Honorable mention: Birdfy Bath Pro
Although we initially saw the Birdfy Bath Pro at CES 2025, it also made an appearance at Birdfy’s CES 2026 booth, featuring a sign highlighting its 2026 Innovation Award. While we await Birdfy’s 2026 smart hummingbird feeder and its slow-motion 4K video, it’s beneficial.
