Skylight Unveils Revamped Digital Calendar at CES 2026

Managing my hectic schedule filled with briefings, pre-briefings, demonstrations, and media functions preceding CES 2026 this week has necessitated meticulous planning and a substantial amount of caffeine. I could truly benefit from a Calendar 2, the refreshed edition of Skylight’s well-liked digital wall calendar.

The gadget was revealed at CES’ Pepcom event on Tuesday evening and will be completely available in a few weeks.

The Skylight Calendar is a WiFi-capable calendar that monitors several family members’ agendas, to-do lists, and chores. Our reviewer appreciated the larger Calendar Max model, which measures 27 inches wide with rounded edges. It even earned one of our Mashable Choice Awards. “Once I had the Skylight Calendar, my life immediately felt more orderly,” stated Jae Thomas for Mashable.

A Skylight representative indicated that the company revised the device based on user feedback seeking a more customizable design to complement various home aesthetics. The new 15-inch Calendar 2 offers interchangeable magnetic frames and a flexible tabletop stand that tilts 180 degrees. It preserves the rounded edges of the Calendar Max, unlike the squared corners of its predecessor, and is 20 percent slimmer.

This redesign also resolves our reviewer’s primary concern with the original Skylight Calendar, where the plastic frame did not align with the screen during assembly, resulting in its usage without a frame. At Pepcom, I found the Calendar 2’s frame simple to attach and detach.

Skylight has also enhanced the Calendar 2 with a new processor, making it three times quicker than the former version. Its touchscreen is now clearer, brighter, and more color-accurate.

A limited-edition Calendar 2 featuring a brass frame and six unique screensavers was launched in December at Target in partnership with Joanna Gaines’ Hearth and Hand with Magnolia brand. It is priced at $339.99, while the standard edition will be sold for $299.99, the same as the first-generation model. An official release is scheduled for February.
