At the moment, if you find yourself at a standstill, the game permits you to uncover the full puzzle, encouraging you to move on to a higher difficulty level and begin again. But fear not, we are here to assist you! Below, you will find incremental clues designed to aid you through each difficulty stage.

Playing Pips

If you have a grasp of dominoes, you will intuitively understand the gameplay of Pips. As noted in our prior hint articles for Pips, the tiles, akin to dominoes, are arranged vertically or horizontally and connect with one another. The primary distinction between classic dominoes and Pips lies in the color-coded requirements that need to be fulfilled. The adjacent tiles do not necessarily need to correspond.

The requirements you are tasked with are particular to the color-coded areas. For example, if a sole number is indicated, the sum of all sides of a tile in that area must equal the specified number. It’s common – and possible – for just a portion of a tile to occupy a color-coded area.

Here are typical conditions you may face throughout the difficulty levels:

  • Number: All pips in this area must total the number.

  • Equal: Each domino half in this area must contain the same number of pips.

  • Not Equal: Each domino half in this area must have entirely different numbers of pips.

  • Less than: Each domino half in this area must sum to less than the number.

  • Greater than: Each domino half in this area must total more than the number.

If an area is devoid of color coding, it implies there are no requirements for the sections of dominoes in those areas.
