Beeple’s Billionaire Robot Canines — Musk, Zuckerberg, and Bezos — Are Total Nightmarish Horror

Hey, I’m not entirely clear on what you hope to achieve by placing hyper-realistic faces of billionaires on robotic dogs — that’s up to you and your beliefs — but I’ll pass. I’m alright, truly, but I appreciate the offer.

I certainly do not wish to see Elon Musk’s smiling face on a machine that then dispenses AI-generated Polaroids for all. I’ve got a busy schedule.

Take a look at these items.

The exhibit at Art Basel Miami Beach is titled “Regular Animals.” Developed by digital designer and artist Mike Winkelmann, known as Beeple, it showcases robotic dogs resembling Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Andy Warhol, and Pablo Picasso, as reported by Storyful.

“Regular Animals,” an art piece by Beeple 🤮 at Art Basel in Miami, showcases billionaire-faced robotic dogs that photograph onlookers & then “defecate” the so-called “artistic impressions,” some of which connect to NFTs. Printed “Excrement Samples” are priced at $100k. Creepy, right?

The art installation I’m referencing is titled Regular Animals, situated in Miami during Art Basel. It’s a work by Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, the artist who sold his NFT work for $69 million during the 2021 NFT surge.

The billionaire dogs featured encompass Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos, along with art figures like Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Beeple himself. It’s disconcerting and peculiar to see the hyper-realistic visages on these image-generating dogs. Some individuals might seek to derive meaning from the installation. Not me, I’ve got tasks to tackle. No thanks.
