Colin Jost’s Pete Hegseth made a comeback on Saturday Night Live this week to kick off the episode hosted by Melissa McCarthy, which included jokes from Dane Cook, 6-7, and the ongoing situation with Venezuela.

The Defense Secretary stormed into the White House press room like a WWE superstar, crushing cans and hurling insults at journalists like an especially obnoxious middle school bully while addressing inquiries about what he labeled “Operation Kill Everybody.”

“As you might have read in some gay publication, we’re officially at war with Venezuela,” the government official informed the press group.

Hegseth was accompanied by “reporter” Matt Gaetz (Sarah Squirm) and “high-energy Alpha” President Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson), the latter of whom was dozing off in the corner, fantasizing about NYC Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani.
