Fallout Season 2 Debuts Sooner: Check Out the Timing

Fallout enthusiasts, your anticipation to head back to the wasteland has been slightly reduced.

Prime Video revealed on Monday that the eagerly awaited second season of Fallout will launch a day earlier than planned. Initially set for a Dec. 17 debut, Fallout’s Season 2 will now become available on Prime Video on Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET.

While the first season of Fallout was released in its entirety for binge-watching, Prime Video has chosen a weekly rollout for this season. Therefore, only one episode will be accessible for streaming on Dec. 16. Fresh episodes will be released weekly until the season concludes on Feb. 4, 2026.

Fallout Season 2 is going to incorporate aspects from the beloved game Fallout: New Vegas. Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan) made his escape to New Vegas at the conclusion of Season 1, and now his daughter Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) are in pursuit. She is determined to bring Hank to justice, while the Ghoul seeks to discover the whereabouts of his wife Barb (Frances Turner) and daughter Janey (Teagan Meredith). As they journey, they will meet New Vegas factions such as the Kings and Caesar’s Legion.

In another storyline, Maximus (Aaron Moten) finds himself rejoining the Brotherhood of Steel, where civil strife is looming and the revelation of cold fusion poses a significant threat. With all these dynamics in play, what lies ahead for the wasteland?

Fallout Season 2 debuts on Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET on Prime Video, with a new episode airing each week.
