Pitt Season 2 Teaser Suggests Turbulent July 4 Emergency Room Shift

HBO Max has revealed the official trailer for the second season of The Pitt, showcasing Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) returning for another demanding period at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. The upcoming season, set 10 months after the previous one, takes place during a bustling July 4 weekend in the emergency department, likely facing firework-related injuries, which typically increase around Independence Day. Compounding the disorder, a cyber attack is anticipated to cripple the emergency room’s computer systems, forcing the team to work “analogue.”

Season 2 also sees the return of Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball), nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa), Dr. Mohran (Supriya Ganesh), Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif), Dr. King (Taylor Dearden), Dr. Santos (Isa Briones), and medical students turned interns Whitaker (Gerran Howell) and Javadi (Shabana Azeez). New to the team is physician Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi).

The Pitt Season 2 debuts on Jan. 8 on HBO Max.
