Last year, the DJI Mic Mini was a preferred option for content creators. Now, it has a successor, yet it may not be accessible to all right away.
The DJI Mic Mini 2, initially reported by The Verge, is currently available in most international markets. The starting price is €59 for a package that comes with a charging case, a wireless receiver, and a mic transmitter.
Higher-priced packages are offered, including a €99 variant with a larger receiver, two transmitters, and a more substantial charging case.
Notably, U.S. pricing is not mentioned. This is due to the fact that, similar to some other DJI items, it is presently unavailable in the U.S., with no definitive timeline for its launch.
DJI products are facing considerable delays in their U.S. debut. Here’s the reason why.
U.S. consumers may not be losing out significantly, as the enhancements in the Mic Mini 2 are not revolutionary. The primary upgrade features a collection of magnetic, interchangeable mic covers in different hues, which are beneficial for either blending in or standing out. Additionally, new voice presets are included, which could be advantageous for certain creators.
Last year, Mashable commended the original Mic Mini for its reasonable price and portability, delivering impressive audio quality and app integration for straightforward adjustments.
Regrettably, U.S. customers will need to think creatively to obtain the latest version.
